#5725 - Otoplasty
14 year old girl who presented with a history of teasing for her prominent ears at school. The upper third of the ears were overgrown with some unfolding of the anti-helical fold. A bilateral otoplasty procedure was performed through an incision in the crease behind the ear. The anti-helical fold was folded into a better position using Mustarde sutures. The conchal bowls were set back using Furnas concho-mastoid sutures. A very natural result was achieved.
