#3063 - Male Rhinoplasty
Details
Front Photos: Broken nose A sporting injury with significant functional and cosmetic changes. An open approach rhinoplasty with nasoseptal reconstruction was performed to correct all the twists and turns. Very happy patient. Left Side Photos: Notice the marked depression just above the tip. This is caused by collapse of the dorsal nasal septum and is referred to a "saddle nose deformity". These can be complicated to repair. In this patient strips of septal cartilage were used to bridge the collapsed area (spreader grafts). If the problem was more severe a graft from strong rib cartilage may have been necessary.Good strong straight dorsum post-operatively. Post-operative photos taken at approximately 9 months following surgery. Results vary from person to person. Cosmetic surgery is a serious decision. More information about the risks and recovery of each procedure is available on our website. All surgery performed by Dr Jason Roth (MED0001185485), Otolaryngology head and neck surgeon, Sydney.
