#6583 - Facelift Blepharoplasty (Eyelid lift) Neck Lift
Details
59 year old lady with significant skin laxity. She described herself as a “sun lover” for most of her life. A deep plane facelift, neck lift, upper and lower eyelid blepharoplasties was performed. The neck lift component included a platysmaplasty to deal with heavy redundant platysmal bands. The lower eyelid blepharoplasty was done through a conjunctival approach with a skin pinch excision. A significant improvement in facial shape and contour was obtained. Much of the excess skin was removed. Note the improvement in the lower eyelid contour and position, the jawline, neck, midface. Almost every aspect of the face and neck looks rejuvenated. Results vary from person to person. Post-operative photos taken at approximately 12 months following surgery. Cosmetic surgery is a serious decision. More information about the risks and recovery of each procedure is available on our website. All surgery performed by Dr Jason Roth (MED0001185485), Otolaryngology head and neck surgeon, Sydney. Some fine wrinkles are still visible. All fine wrinkles in very sun damaged skin are not typically completely removed with a deep plane facelift. These results could be further improved with skin resurfacing in the form of a laser or skin peel treatment at some point in the future.
