#7742 - Male Rhinoplasty
Details
21 year old man with a history of nasal obstruction, hay fever and a crooked nose. He also did not like the overall size of the nose, particularly the hump on side view. A septorhinoplasty with turbinoplasties was performed. The main aim was to improve breathing. The dorsum (bridge) of the nose was lowered to improve the side view and reduce the overall size of the nose. The post-operative result was excellent. The patient noticed a marked improvement in breathing. The masculine shape to the nose was maintained but with better proportions and overall size.
