#6233 - Female Rhinoplasty
Details
25 year old lady with thick nasal skin concerned about the width of her nose when viewed from in front. An open approach rhinoplasty was performed. The bony and cartilaginous elements of the nose were narrowed. The surgery included osteotomies to narrow the bony vault as well as an alar base reduction and tip refinement sutures. A small onlay graft was also placed on the tip. The post-operative photographs show a subtle but pleasing improvement when viewed from the front and side. Note the reduction in the width of the lower third as seen from the front view as well as the tip refinement achieved despite the thick nasal skin. Post-operative photos taken at approximately 12 months following surgery. Results vary from person to person. Cosmetic surgery is a serious decision. More information about the risks and recovery of each procedure is available on our website. All surgery performed by Dr Jason Roth (MED0001185485), Otolaryngology head and neck surgeon, Sydney.
