#7760 - Female Rhinoplasty
Details
26 year old lady requesting a combined functional and cosmetic septorhinoplasty with turbinoplasties. An open approach septorhinoplasty was performed. Ethmoid bone and septal cartilage was used to straighten the midthird and create a septal extension graft. The nasal tip asymmetry and shape could then be altered. The nose was deprojected and the dorsal height lowered. Inferior turbinoplasties were performed to improve breathing. The post-operative photos at 18 mths show a significant improvement in nasal aesthetics throughout he nose. In particular the bulbous tip shape appears much more refined. All breathing difficulties were corrected. Results vary from person to person. Cosmetic surgery is a serious decision. More information about the risks and recovery of each procedure is available on our website. All surgery performed by Dr Jason Roth (MED0001185485), Otolaryngology head and neck surgeon, Sydney.
